been found guilty of or penalized for any of the <br /> following: <br /> a) cruelty to animals <br /> b) mutilation of dogs <br /> c) owning or training a dog or other animal intending <br /> that it shall be engaged in an exhibition of fighting <br /> d) being present in a building where preparations are <br /> being made for an exhibition of fighting of animals <br /> with intent to be present at the time of the exhibi- <br /> tion <br /> e) being present, aiding or contributing to an exhibi- <br /> tion of fighting of animals <br /> 2. The Clerk of the Court in whose jurisdiction such finding <br /> has been made shall be requested to notify the Town Clerk <br /> where the guilty person resides. Notification must then <br /> be made to the individual involved demanding that the <br /> license be surrendered. In addition, the Town Clerk may <br /> not issue a dog license or tag to that individual for a <br /> period of two years from the date of his being found <br /> guilty or penalized. <br /> Section 4. 14. 6 <br /> Monthly Returns <br /> 1. License fees <br /> The Town Clerk shall receive the money for dog licenses <br /> and tags and pay it into the treasury of the town. The <br /> Town Clerk shall furnish a monthly report of dogs <br /> licensed to the Animal Control Officer and the Police <br /> Department. <br /> Section 4 . 14. 7 <br /> Reimbursement for Livestock or Poultry killed or injured by Unknown <br /> Dogs <br /> 1. The following requirements are necessary for <br /> reimbursement : <br /> a) Incident must be reported to the police or the Animal <br /> Control Officer within 24 hours of incident <br /> b) Claimant must not be the owner of an unlicensed dog <br /> at the time of the incident <br /> c) Damage over $50 .00 must be witnessed by at least two <br /> police officers and the Animal Control Officer <br /> -62- <br />
