Motion made by Select Board Member Weeden Motion: I move the Town vote to approve Article 11 as printed in the warrant, with the exception of the phrase "or take any other action relating thereto." Motion passes 201 to 12 at 8:44PM Article 12 To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer the sum of $250,000 from revenue available for appropriation, to be deposited into special injury leave indemnity fund (Injured on Duty Fund), in accordance with the provisions of General Law Chapter 41, Section 111F for the purposes of funding injury leave compensation or medical bills incurred under said law, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Select Board Explanation: This article would deposit $250,000 into the special injury leave indemnity fund (Injured on Duty Fund). Submitted by the Finance Director Explanation: The Department of Revenue requires the Town to establish and appropriate a yearly budget based on estimated expenditures from the fund for the next fiscal year. The total budget voted may not exceed the current balance within the fund.
