Review and Approve Minutes—April 16, 2025 <br /> • Mr. Livingston made a motion to table the minutes, which Mr. Ring <br /> seconded. <br /> • Vote: 2 yay— 0 nay <br /> 2. 42 Sandy Way—Variance from Title 5 Regulations <br /> • Glenn Harrington presented a revised septic system plan for Sandy Way, <br /> relocating the system to the front yard per Conservation Commission <br /> request. <br /> • The plan includes a 1500-gallon tank and two 500-gallon chambers, with <br /> an IA fast system due to its proximity to the waterway. <br /> • Variance required for soil absorption system to be 46 ft from the coastal <br /> bank (state requirement is 50 ft); abutters notified and Conservation <br /> Commission review scheduled for May 8. <br /> • Clarification that UV light disinfection is not required as the system is <br /> more than 75 feet from the waterway; the plan will be revised to remove <br /> this note. <br /> • Discussion on Title 5 regulations regarding system depth and oxygenation <br /> for treatment efficiency. <br /> • Mr. Ring made a motion to approve the variance request, which Mr. <br /> Livingston seconded. <br /> • Vote: 3 yay— 0 nay <br /> 1 <br />
