Mr. Balzarini and the Town Planner performed a site visit. In addition
to keeping the trees already in the 1 Oft. buffer, they would like to keep the trees on the other
side as well. Mature pines can remain, and they add character to the lot. Mr. Tobin would like
to have a conversation with the developer about adding to the decision to add new trees where
that tree infested with pine beetles was cut, to create a little extra privacy. Regarding the trees
behind the fence, there is a memo recommending trimming of dead branches, but they are
otherwise healthy overall.
Housing Production Plan Final Update and Board Adoption
The most updated version of the HPP is loaded onto the website. She read through all the comments; she accepts
them.
Mike Sparkes, Chair of the Affordable Housing Committee, would like to comment on the
appendices being nicely delineated. This document has full support and approval from the
Affordable Housing Committee, there is emphasis on water issues and affordable housing,
with the help of the consultant, and inclusion of all comments and edits, a fantastic document
was produced.
Ms. Waygan clarified about the parking for ADUs, in both single and multifamily, two spaces
are required. A parking space is also required if they are located over a half mile away from a
transit station.
2
