If <br />the bylaw proves ine?ective within the first year, he plans to return to the Board with <br />recommendations for adjustments. <br />Anne Schnader asked about the destination of collected fines, and the Town Manager <br />confirmed that all funds would go into the general fund. Keith Machado expressed concern <br />that the proposed $50 fine may be too low, especially for repeat o?enders. <br />Discussion and Vote on Article 13 – Amendment to Chapter 106, Section 106-8: Rental <br />Property <br />The Board discussed the proposed amendment to Chapter 106, Section 106-8 of the <br />General Bylaws concerning the short-term rental program. The amendment clarifies that <br />inspections of short-term rental properties must be conducted by a qualified building <br />o?icial. Following the initial inspection, the designated building inspector will be <br />responsible for annual inspections as required by the state regulations. <br />Article 5 –Grant Match Funds of $40,000 for Design and Engineering of Ockway Bay <br />Municipal Marina <br />Stephen Mone presented the proposal to approve $40,000 in grant match funds for the <br />design and engineering of the Ockway Bay Municipal Marina.
