Ann Macdonald made a motion to add Reorganization of the Board to the Agenda. Seconded by Beth Geatrakas. All in favor. Reorganization of the Board MOTION: Ruth Nickerson made a motion to nominate Beth Geatrakas and Ann Macdonald as Co-Chairs. Seconded by Kate Milde. All in favor. She will send a resignation letter to the Select Board, and once the process is complete, the Trustees will discuss how to proceed. A joint appointment will be made with both the Trustees and Select Board. st Ann Macdonald presented on April 21 for the “A Day in the Life” segment. Former member Joan Lyons helped with the Friends piece and Ruth Nickerson helped with Hoopla. They are going to look into other locations for more advocacy presentations. The Mini golf event held over April school vacation brought 115 kids and parents, it was a nice event raising $900.00. The endowment account will be changing banks to Cape Cod Five. The Friends are planning another author event in October and are currently looking at locations and ideas for authors. LIBRARY POLICY UPDATES & DISCUSSION Law Enforcement The Library Director sent the Town Manager copies of two examples; it was decided simple and direct is more effective. With no objections, the Library Director recommended a vote be taken on the proposed policy. MOTION: 3
