The Committee will review <br /> applications and submit recommendations for inclusion on the Town Meeting warrant. <br /> Town Planner Brian Tobin presented an application for funding to support Regional Housing Services, <br /> a program coordinated through the Barnstable County Shared Regional Housing Services Program. <br /> • Program Background: <br /> Mr. Tobin explained that Mashpee, along with many other Cape towns,has benefited from this <br /> regional program, which provides affordable housing planning assistance and access to <br /> technical consultants. Previously,participation was supported by federal ARPA(American <br /> Rescue Plan Act) funds, but that grant expires June 2025. Going forward, towns must self-fund <br /> participation. Of the 15 Cape towns, 12 have already committed, one has declined, and one <br /> plans to join in a year. <br /> • Requested Funding: <br /> Mr. Tobin requested$9,235.00 from Mashpee CPC's affordable housing allocation.
