The Chair explained that the original purchase of the Pickerel Cove properties had fallen apart due to a <br /> difficult negotiation. Therefore, the funds allocated for their purchase had been returned to the <br /> Community Preservation Fund. With a new owner of the property,the negotiations have moved forward, <br /> and the deal for several of the original proposed parcels should close shortly.
