Judy MacDougall-yes <br /> Ms. Russell-yes <br /> So convened to an Executive Session. <br /> Application <br /> Returning to open session,Ms. Russell outlined the particulars of the Barnstable County SRHS Program, <br /> In 2023,Barnstable County established a pilot Shared Regional Housing Services Program funded via the <br /> County ARPA grant. The allocation provided for a two-year pilot program,which will sunset on June 30, <br /> 2025. <br /> Ms. Waygan provided a detailed explanation of the benefits of continuing the partnership and its <br /> associated costs. <br /> The topic was for discussion purposes only and did not require any action. <br /> Properties for Sale <br /> The Community Preservation Committee reviews applications submitted by Town bodies and citizens for <br /> funding projects involving the acquisition, creation, and preservation of open space, for the acquisition <br /> and preservation of historic resources; for the acquisition, creation and preservation of land for <br /> recreational use; for the creation,preservation and support of community housing; and for rehabilitation <br /> or restoration of such open space,historic resources, land for recreational use and community housing. <br /> The Committee is always looking for new properties to acquire to meet these goals, and the group <br /> discussed several potential properties that might be suitable for such purposes, going over the pros and <br /> cons of each. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> CPC Staffing: New Board Secretary <br /> The CPC members welcomed the new Board Secretary, Gina Gonsalves. <br /> Mr. Hyde presented a letter of appreciation for Kathy Soares,the Committee's previous secretary, for the <br /> members to review. It was a consensus that the letter be sent to show appreciation for Ms. Soare's <br /> outstanding work as Board Secretary. <br /> MOTION: TO ADJOURN THE MEETING AT 7:32 PM <br /> The motion was made by MR.
