•Mashpee Affordable Housing Trust has a current balance around$750,000,which is funded by Town <br /> Meeting allocations and land donations. <br /> •The Committee's power is limited to research,facilitation,and advocacy;land/project selection is key <br /> before leveraging additional funding sources. <br /> The Committee should Review priority town-owned parcels(see HPP,e.g.,219 Barnstable Road, <br /> Sampson Road/VFW parcel),work in coordination with the Affordable Housing Trust and Planning <br /> Board and initiate site-by-site feasibility assessments and eventually issue RFPs.
