For the police to do their job, they <br /> have to have the trust of the people. The propensity of reporting crimes would decrease if <br /> people were scared of reporting due to getting in trouble. People are really watching what's <br /> happening in our communities to make sure we can continue trusting the police. If you are a <br /> victim of abuse and you have an uncertain immigration status and are cooperating as a victim, <br /> there is support you can receive as a victim with Non-Citizen Status. A document was sent to <br /> all superintendents, given preparation for ICE intervention, to ensure children are protected as <br /> a result of any immigration issue. A Falmouth group created a brochure that they are planning <br /> to deliver to businesses to give to employees about immigration. It's not a legal document, its <br /> advice. The goal is to go around town and ensure their workers know their rights.
