<br />The Select Board recommends approval of Article 6 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 6 by a vote of 6-0 <br /> <br />Planning Board unanimously recommends approval of Article 6 <br /> <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Weeden <br /> <br />Motion: I move the Town vote to approve Article 6 as printed in the warrant, with the <br />exception of the phrase “or take any other action relating thereto.” <br /> <br />Motion passes 333 to 44 at 8:31PM <br /> <br /> <br />Article 7 <br /> <br />To see if the Town will vote to adopt the following changes to the Mashpee Zoning Bylaws §174- <br />11 Lots Located in Multiple Zoning Districts: <br /> <br />Insert as the last sentence to this section 174-11 the following wording: “When a split zoned lot is <br />split between a residential zone and either a commercial or industrial zone or both, and access is <br />available or can be made available in more than one zone of the lot, any industrial or commercial <br />use in said lot shall utilize access on its respective side only. <br /> <br />Or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> <br /> Submitted by the Planning Board <br /> <br />Explanation: This amendment would require industrial or commercial uses on split zoned lots <br />where the other zoning is residential to limit access to the industrial or commercial zoned side of <br />the lot thereby prohibiting industrial or commercial entrance and exit on the residential side of the <br />lot. The intention is in large part to respect the character of residential neighborhoods by precluding <br />an overburdening of the residential way with industrial or commercial traffic. Article 7 requires a <br />2/3 vote to pass. <br /> <br />The Select Board recommends approval of Article 7 by a vote of 5-0 <br />The Finance Committee recommends approval of Article 7 by a vote of 5-1 <br /> <br />The Planning Board unanimously recommends the approval of Article 7 <br /> <br />Motion made by Select Board Member Cotton <br /> <br />Motion: I move the Town vote to approve Article 7 as printed in the warrant, with the <br />exception of the phrase “or take any other action relating thereto.” <br /> <br />Motion passes 322 to 29 at 8:33PM <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
