CHARTER REVIEW COMMITTEE <br /> Regular Session Minutes <br /> September 29, 2025 <br /> Discussion concerning compliance with state and federal requirements for digital <br /> accessibility (ADA, Title 11), including audio and video records of meetings. <br /> Consideration of technical and fiscal implications for the town/departments (e.g., <br /> closed captioning, website compatibility, cost, and funding availability). <br /> Evaluation of whether the charter is the appropriate place to mandate such <br /> requirements, or whether this is better handled by policy, given rapidly changing <br /> technology. <br /> Noted April 24, 2026, compliance date for Title 11 digital accessibility. <br /> MEETING SCHEDULE <br /> The next meeting was scheduled for October 27th, with subsequent meetings tentatively <br /> scheduled for November loth and December 11t. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion by McKelvey to adjourn the meeting atPM. <br /> Motion seconded by Weeden. <br /> Roll Call Vote: 8-0(Unanimous) <br /> Sherman, yes McKelvey,yes Furbush,yes <br /> Waygan,yes Lewis, yes DWeeden,yes Collins,yes <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Christine Willander <br /> Administrative Assistant <br />
