4 <br /> <br />Community Preservation Committee <br />Minutes-Executive Session <br />April 11, 2024 <br /> <br />Present: Arden Russell, Mary Waygan, Lynne Barbee, Richard Klein, <br /> Michael Wyman-Colombo, Sandi Godfrey, Judy MacDougall, Ted Schmuhl <br /> <br />Absent: Brian Hyde <br /> <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Russell at 7:13 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Ockway Meeting Room <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />To consider the purchase, lease or value of the following parcels of the real property located at 9 <br />Pickerel Cove Road; Map 13 Parcel 53, 17 Pickerel Cove Road; Map 13 Parcel 54, 25 Pickerel <br />Cove Road; Map 13 Parcel 55, 33 Pickerel Cove Road; Map 13 Parcel 56, 87 Pickerel Cove <br />Road; Map 13 Parcel 1, 7 Pickerel Cove Circle; Map 13 Parcel 57, 21 Pickerel Cove Circle; <br />Map 14 Parcel 14, 25 Pickerel Cove Circle; Map 14 Parcel 4, and 0 Rear Pickerel Cove Road; <br />Map 14 Parcel 3 pursuant to G.L. c. 30A, section 21(a)(6): <br /> <br />Discussion followed with respect to negotiations regarding the above referenced property <br />consisting of (9) parcels on Pickerel Cove Road and Pickerel Cove Circle, a site comprised of <br />17.27 acres more or less. <br /> <br />After review and discussion, the following was agreed upon; <br /> <br />Motion made by Ms. Barbee to amend the May 6, 2024 Special Town Meeting warrant <br />article proposed for CPA funding for the above referenced properties to include the full <br />amount of the appraisal; $2,821,000, the appraised value for all 17.27 acres. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Schmuhl. <br />Motion amended by Ms. Barbee to amend the motion; subject to a Conservation <br />Restriction and to authorize the Select Board/Town Manager and/or Community <br />Preservation Committee to enter into all negotiations. <br />VOTE: 8-0.
