Unanimous. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Ms. Russell, yes Mr. Hyde, abstained Ms. Waygan, yes Ms. Barbee yes <br />Mr. Klein, yes Ms. Wyman-Colombo, yes Ms. Godfrey, yes Mr. Schmuhl, yes <br />Opposed, none <br />APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br />CPC Applications proposed for funding at the October 2024 Town Meeting; <br />Matthew Haney, Gooseberry Island Trust; Acquisition of Gooseberry Island: <br />The Community Preservation Committee met with Matthew Haney, Trustee of the Gooseberry <br />Island Trust to review the CPA application proposed for funding at the October 2024 Town <br />Meeting for the Acquisition of Gooseberry Island. <br />Mr. Haney indicated that a previous application was submitted to the CPC by the Conservation <br />Commission for the Acquisition of Gooseberry Island for the May 2021 Town Meeting. <br />The CPC at the time voted to authorize an appraisal allocating up to $3,000. <br />The application before the CPC for the October 2024 Town Meeting is in request of $8,000,000. <br />$2,500,000 is requested in CPA funds, and the remainder, $6,500,000 is recommended to be <br />secured from CPA State matching funds, grants, donations, public or private sources etc. Mr. <br />Haney indicated the price is non-negotiable. <br /> <br />
