Town of Mashpee Sewer Commission <br /> t <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> Meeting Minutes of the Mashpee Sewer Commission <br /> Thursday, October 16, 2025; 2:00 PM <br /> Mashpee Town Hall- Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North, Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> *In-person and televised meeting* <br /> Present:Chair, Meredith Harris; Vice Chair, Alfred Towle; Commissioner Cody Erickson; <br /> Wastewater Superintendent, Jared Meader; and Ashley Fisher, Water Quality Coordinator <br /> Absent: Commissioners Joseph Lyons and Mohan Nair <br /> Chair Meredith Harris called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. in open session. <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> Chair Harris requested a moment of silence. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Chair Harris requested a review of September 18, 2025, meeting minutes and any changes or <br /> comments to them. <br /> MOTION: To accept September 18, 2025, minutes. <br /> Motion by: Alfred Towle Seconded by: Cody Erickson <br /> Vote: Motion passed by unanimous vote. <br /> (Meredith Harris, Alfred Towle, Cody Erickson) <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> No public comment. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Nothing discussed <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> GHD UPDATE <br /> Phase One Progress <br /> Mr. Drainville provided updates on Phase One of the sewer project. He noted that the <br /> treatment plant has been operational for several months and is performing near expected levels. <br /> Preliminary test results suggest the system is running well, although certified lab results for the <br /> week were not yet available. The substantial completion date is scheduled for January 1 lth. <br /> Phase One represents 13% of the TMDL goal for Popponesset Bay, and progress has been <br /> steady. Mr. Drainville noted that ongoing monitoring and testing will continue to ensure <br /> compliance. This update reassured commissioners that the plant is stable and progressing as <br /> planned. <br />
