Select Board <br /> Minutes <br /> August 11,2025 <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to hold Article 6. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Richardson. <br /> Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br /> Roll Call Vote <br /> Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes <br /> Selectman Weeden-yes <br /> Selectman Cotton-yes <br /> Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes <br /> Selectman Richardson-yes <br /> Article-14-Vote to amend the Town Charter <br /> Town Manager Rodney Collins introduced the article. Selectman Weeden elaborated that <br /> while some proposed changes were relatively minor, such as grammatical corrections and <br /> clarifications—others were more substantive and required detailed deliberation. He cited <br /> the School Committee section as one of the more complex items but emphasized that all <br /> items were ultimately approved unanimously bythe Charter Review Committee following <br /> extensive input and discussion. <br /> Selectman Cotton inquired whether the Town Clerk had reviewed the proposed <br /> amendments, particularly those related to her office. Itwas confirmed that the prior Town <br /> Clerk was involved in earlier stages of the process and raised no objections <br /> Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson raised a specific point regarding the printing and digitizing of <br /> the Town budget, expressing interest in ensuring that while the move to digitization is <br /> intended to save money, there would still be provisions to make printed copies available <br /> forthose without digital access. Collins confirmed that a summary of the budgetwould be <br /> printed and available during distribution, and fullversions would be accessible online, with <br /> hard copies available at the library and other locations for those who need them. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to approve and recommend Article 14. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Richardson. <br /> Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br /> Roll Call Vote <br />
