She requested that the leaflet be entered into the official record <br /> and asked that the Town address the inaccuracies publicly. <br /> ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br /> (This space is reserved for topics that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate would be <br /> discussed) <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> Selectman Weeden provided an update on a recent meeting of the EnvironmentalOversight <br /> Committee (EOC). Selectman Weeden stated that while no formal vote or official position <br /> was taken, the general consensus among members present was supportive of the proposed <br /> sewer collection system associated with the Mashpee-Wakeby Cluster Project. <br /> The discussion was framed by the current condition of Mashpee-Wakeby Pond, which was <br /> described as concerning. Members acknowledged the urgency to protect the water body, <br /> and feltthat the proposed collection system represented a viable and positive path forward <br /> for addressing the water quality issues. <br /> WATER QUALITY UPDATES <br /> TOWN MANAGER UPDATES <br /> Distribution of Visual.Aid for Article 4 of October2025 Town Meeting Warrant <br /> Selectman Cotton praised the updated Mashpee-Wakeby Cluster map as clear and <br /> transparent. <br /> Town Manager Rodney Collins reported ongoing outreach to Joint Base Cape Cod, <br /> Falmouth, and Sandwich regarding the proposed sewer project. Selectman Weeden noted <br /> Bourne was unintentionally left out,which Collins agreed to follow up on by contacting <br /> Bourne. <br /> Assistant Town Manager Wayne Taylor noted that Town Managers from the Cape will meet <br /> on Thursday and may discuss a joint letter. If consensus isn't reached, individual letters will <br /> be sent. Selectman Weeden also suggested to reach out to MassDevelopment to <br /> understand their process and remaining opportunities forTown input. <br /> 5 <br />
