Vote: 2 yay : 0 nay Motion passed <br /> 2. 29 Jeep Place, Variance from Title V Regulations <br /> • Representative Ron Bonvie <br /> • The applicant wants to install a new Title V fast system and eventually replace <br /> the foundation <br /> • Current foundation consists of 4 rows of block with no footing and is in poor <br /> condition <br /> • Property requires Board of Health approval for leaching field and Title 5 <br /> system <br /> • The conservation department is requiring a full notice of intent <br /> Three Variance Requests <br /> 1. 8 feet from the property line instead oft e required 10 feet <br /> 2. Septic field at 3.4 feet from property instead oft e required 10 feet <br /> 3. Septic field 5 feet from foundation instead of the required 20 feet <br /> Technical Details <br /> • Small property with system positioned as far from the ocean as possible <br /> • The system will be between the house and another house,with a paper street <br /> tothe west <br /> • Uses pipe and stone with a fast system to meet waterway proximity <br /> requirements <br /> • System designed to reduce nitrogen to 19 mg/1 <br /> • Coarse sand soil requiring the system to be 5 feet above the groundwater <br /> • No groundwater detected to 120 inches, with the ocean approximately 200 <br /> inches below <br /> • Polyliner recommended around the system but not required <br /> Motion <br /> • Mr. Livingston made a motion to approve the variance with the contingency <br /> that the Board of Health Agent will receive the green cards from the abutters. <br /> Mr. Ring seconded. <br /> • Vote: 3 yay : 0 nay Motion passed <br /> Documents provided: Public Hearing/Variance Request Form(2 pages);Letter to the Board from Bay <br /> Colony Group, Inc.(3 pages), Proposed Sewage Disposal System Design Plans(2 pages) <br /> 3.
