Town of Mashpee Sewer Commission <br /> t <br /> 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> o Fill diesel tank on generator from 1/3 to %2 <br /> o Other minor DEP items completed <br /> • Expect authorization to accept wastewater soon <br /> o Waiting for acceptance letter from DEP <br /> Vice Chair Towle asked if there was any damage to the sand beds after the heavy rain. Mr. <br /> Drainville stated that there was not any damages. Chair Harris asked why there was still a two- <br /> week wait for the approval letter if the corrections that needed to be made during the testing <br /> demonstration, were made while DEP personnel were onsite. Mr. Drainville answered that the <br /> individual from the state that attended the demonstration has to write a report, which then is <br /> sent to the Section Chief who then writes the approval. Report has already been written so just <br /> the approval is outstanding. Mr. Drainville stated that he will reach out to the state and ask <br /> when the approval could be expected, since it has been two weeks since the onsite <br /> demonstration. <br /> (PowerPoint) <br /> Phase 1 Collection System <br /> • Phase 1—Green and Orange Areas (Colors refer to Map in Presentation) <br /> o RBO (Robert B. Our) is ready to hookup Sea Oaks and Summerwood <br /> o RBO is ready to hook up Asher Path Apartments <br /> • Phase 1A— Blue Area (Refers to Map) <br /> o Brewster Road Pump Station <br /> Operation Staff Engaged <br /> • Contract operations for Mashpee <br /> o Town received two (2) bids for Contract Operations <br /> o Interviews held in May <br /> o Process is nearly Complete <br /> • For now: <br /> o Town provided DEP with temporary staffing plan <br /> o This step is complete <br /> DEP-Approved Staffing Plan is Required for Town to Activate the Collection Systems, PSs, and <br /> WRRF <br /> (PowerPoint) <br /> System Supports in Place <br /> • Chemicals and Fuel <br /> o Contractor coordinated and chemical tanks being filled <br /> • Sludge Hauler <br /> o Part of the Contract Operations contract <br /> • Tools and equipment <br />
