Executive Director's Report& Updates: Ms. Conn reported that there is one vacancy at <br /> Horneyer, which will be leased tomorrow, and there will be one more vacancy upcoming <br /> due to a transfer. There are two vacancies at Asher's Path, one is near completion and <br /> expected to be leased later this month. There are six outstanding rents, three from Breezy <br /> Acres, two from Homeyer, and one from Great Cove; three tenants are under repayment <br /> agreements, two are vacated, and one notice to quit. The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe <br /> reached looking for assistance to manage their Low-Income Housing Tax Credit property, <br /> but we had to decline due to staffing capacity. Maintenance Director interviews have been <br /> completed, and a job offer will be going out. The Housing Authority received a letter from <br /> MCAD saying that the investigation would last beyond one year. Ms. Conn reviewed <br /> Capital Project#172076,Change Order#1 for a GFI outlet upgrade from the existing three <br /> prong plug to the code required four-prong plug in the amount of$739.21. Ms. Meizinger <br /> moved to approve Project # 172076 Change Order #1 in tea of $739.21, <br /> seconded by Mr. Klein. Motion carried. 4-Ayes, O-Nays. Ms. Conn then discussed the <br /> Certificate of Substantial Completion, and the Certificate of Final Completion for Project <br /> 172076. Ms. LeClair moved to approve both the Certificate of Substantial <br /> Completion,and the Certificate of Final Completion for Project 172076,seconded by <br /> Mr. Klein. 'Other Business: The and briefly discussed the Christmas & Thanksgiving holiday <br /> dinners, and Ms. LeClair will reach out to the Chamber to inquire if the program will <br /> continue this year. Ms. Meizinger discussed Asher's Path hosting a second event with First <br /> Citizens Credit Union as a part two to the fraud prevention or a budgeting class to their <br /> previously sponsored event for residents. The residents are interested, but timing of the <br /> Housing Authority being understaffed presents a challenge with scheduling. Lastly, the <br /> board discussed semi-annual fire drills. There was recently a fire safety walk through as <br /> the fire department is updating their preparedness plan. <br />
