<br />Mashpee Economic Development Industrial Corporation (EDIC) <br />Minutes – September 30, 2025 <br />6:00 PM <br />Location: Zoom <br />Present: Pamela McCarthy (Chair), Stephanie Viva, Denise Dutson <br />Absent: Robyn Simmons, Patrice Pimental, Mike Richardson <br />Guest: Jill \[Candidate for Interview\] <br />1. Call Meeting to Order <br />Pamela McCarthy called the meeting to order at 6:06 PM. Quorum was established with <br />three members present. Informal discussion occurred as attendees joined the meeting. <br />Robin, Patrice, and Mike were not present but had been contacted. <br />2. Interview of Jill <br />Jill, a real estate broker with community roots, attended for an interview as a potential new <br />committee member. <br /> <br />She has experience in economic development and nonprofit leadership, including board <br />service and development roles with Heroes in Transition. Jill has worked with federal <br />policy, military skills bridge programs, and veteran transition initiatives. She brings a <br />national and bi-coastal perspective, having lived in Europe and California. <br /> <br />Jill expressed a strong desire to contribute to housing affordability, workforce retention, <br />and economic sustainability in Mashpee. She hopes to apply her strategic and research- <br />based experience while learning more about local governance. The Committee discussed <br />local challenges related to housing, demographics, and economic growth. <br />3. Discussion Topics <br />A. Housing and Economic Development <br />B.
