Update on CredibleMind Behavioral Health Platform
Gail Wilson provided an update on the roll out of the CredibleMinds platform. She asked the
Committee for their opinion on the platform which was praised as a valuable tool for the
employees and residents of Mashpee. Gail noted that the biggest challenge is the continued
marketing of the platform that will be needed to reach every corner of the community.
The committee offered many suggestions including QR codes, outreach to cohort groups,
religious groups, social work providers VNA, and the Tribe. Sandra stated that she will make
sure it is on the new town website. Tracey praised Gail and the CredibleMind committee for their
hard work and impact that this valuable tool will have to improve mental health in our area.
Director's Report
Gail asked the Committee for suggestions for future speakers at Committee meetings.
Gail praised Mashpee's ban on the sale of kratom, which will begin on January 21, 2026.
Kratom is a plant-based, opiate-like substance which is often sold in gas stations and convenience
stores.
She also mentioned the continued need for grief support in town. She has reached out to the Senior
Center and is investigating other resources.
ADDITIONAL TOPICS:
Lynne Barbee has attempted to contact Committee member, Kasey Sherman, regarding her interest
in continuing to serve on the Committee. A letter will be sent by the chair to Ms. Sherman to
determine her future service.
NEXT MEETING:
Friday, February 20, 2026, via Zoom
ADJOURNMENT:
12 noon with unanimous approval
