He noted that individuals could <br /> submit comments either in support of or in opposition to the proposal during the extended comment period. <br /> Mr. Colombo further clarified that the comment period referenced pertained specifically to the public comment period <br /> associated with the NEPA filing for the project. He explained that this process was separate from the Commission's <br /> review and emphasized that, without that distinction, the minutes could be misinterpreted to suggest that the <br /> Commission was awaiting or involved in that decision-making process. <br /> He noted that the intent of the update was to inform the public of the opportunity to comment within the NEPA <br /> process,rather than to indicate any direct action or pending decision by the Commission. <br /> 1 <br />
