Town of Mashpee <br /> i�i, iero 16 Great Neck Road North <br /> r Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> MUW <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> APRIL 8, 2026 <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals held Public Hearings on Wednesday, April <br /> 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Waquoit Room at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great <br /> Neck Road North. Present at the meeting were Vice Chair, Sharon Sangeleer, <br /> Board Members, William Blaisdell and Jonathan Furbush, Associate Members, <br /> Charles Reidy, and Robert Caggiano were present. Ron Bonvie was on Zoom and <br /> was observing only. Also present was Building Commissioner, David Morris. <br /> Ms. Sangeleer as the Chair opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that <br /> the hearings were being televised live on Mashpee TV. He will take comments <br /> after each hearing. <br /> NEW HEARINGS <br /> 17 and 23 Alma Road: Owners, Kevin W. Gaffney and Karen Flynn Gaffney, <br /> Trustees request a Written Finding under §174-17 and §174-33 of the Zoning <br /> Bylaws to allow for construction of an inground pool and cabana within 50 ft. of <br /> a wetland resource area on property located in the R-3 Zoning District, and <br /> governed under the 1964 New Seabury Special Permit, Map 111, Parcels 266 <br /> and 267, Mashpee, MA. (Received withdrawal letter dated April 3, 2026, <br /> from Attorney). <br /> Mr. Reidy read Attorney Kirrane's letter dated April 3, 2026, into the record <br /> requesting a withdrawal without prejudice. Mr. Reidy made a motion at the <br /> request of the applicant to withdraw the application for a Written Finding without <br /> prejudice. Mr. Blaisdell second. All were in favor. <br /> 30 Captains Row: Owners, Matthew S. and Jennifer A. Keilty request a Written <br /> Finding under §174-17 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for expansion of existing <br /> living space, construction of a new garage, and a new deck to a pre-existing, <br /> nonconforming single-family structure on property located in an R-3 Zoning <br /> District, Map 90, Parcel 53, Mashpee, MA. <br /> Sitting on this hearing are Mr. Furbush, Ms. Sangeleer, Mr. Blaisdell, Mr. Reidy, <br /> and Mr. Caggiano. <br /> 1 <br />
