FINCOM-Regular Session <br /> August 28,2025 <br /> Present Finance Committee Members <br /> Jeffrey Pettengill-Chair <br /> Jamie Schuh-Vice Chair <br /> Greg McKelvey <br /> AnneSchnader <br /> Darlene Furbush <br /> Meeting called to order in open session by Chair Jeffrey Pettengill in the Waquoit Meeting <br /> Room, MashpeeTown Hall, 16 Great Neck North, Mashpee, Ma at 4:30 pm. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> MOMENT OF SILENCE <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Lynne Barbee, 73 Surf Drive, raised concerns about revisions to Article 4, notingthat key <br /> details were removed from the warrant article afterthe Select Board meeting. She <br /> questioned why specific language about the project scope, including sewer infrastructure <br /> and location details (such as 0 Gunter's Lane), was omitted. Barbee expressed a desire for <br /> clarity and transparency, emphasizing that voters should have clear information about the <br /> project. <br /> Sue Dangle encouraged approval and recommendation of Article4, highlighting the <br /> importance of securing state funding through the SRF program. She noted that the project <br /> was highly rated and stressed that if the town does not approve it, the funding will be lost. <br /> Dangle praised town leaders and wastewater staff fortheir efforts and described the <br /> cluster system as a smart solution to challenging sewering conditions. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Motion made by Jamie Schuh to approve the minutes from Thursday, August 14,2025. <br /> Motion seconded by Anne Schnader. <br /> Motion passed 2-0-3. <br /> Roll Call Vote <br /> Jeffrey Pettengill, yes; Jamie Schuh, abstention; Greg McKelvey,yes; Anne Schnader, <br /> abstention; Darlene Furbush, abstention. <br />
