<br />Select Board <br />February 9,2026 <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Michael Cucinotta was interviewed for the Mashpee Housing Authority <br />vacancy. He stated that he has long intended to serve the community and <br />was inspired to apply after seeing the positive impact the Housing Authority <br />had on a friend and her family. <br />He shared that he works closely with community members who utilize <br />Housing Authority resources and has a strong passion for helping others. In <br />his role as a manager, he described himself as a leader and problem solver <br />who works well in a team environment and values communication and <br />compromise. <br />Cucinotta cited his experience providing housing to J1 and international <br />students over the past four summers, ensuring they have a safe and <br />supportive environment. He does not currently serve on any other town <br />boards or committees and expressed enthusiasm for stepping into public <br />service and contributing to the community. <br /> Mohamad Fahd, Candidate <br /> <br />Mohamad Fahd was interviewed for the Mashpee Housing Authority vacancy. <br />He stated that he had concerns regarding whether the town could hold a joint <br />meeting for the interviews and referenced notices he had sent outlining his <br />concerns point by point. He emphasized the importance of understanding and <br />applying rules and regulations, noting that the matter was one of legality. Fahd <br />declined to participate further in the interview process. <br /> <br />Nomination made by Selectman Weeden for Lynne Barbee to fill the Mashpee Housing <br />Authority vacancy. <br />Nomination seconded by Selectman Richardson. <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
