Selectman Weeden expressed support <br />for Barbee, citing her consistent involvement, advocacy background, and work on the Local <br />Comprehensive Plan, stating she has demonstrated fairness and the ability to collaborate. <br />Selectman Cotton acknowledged Barbee’s experience but noted that Cucinotta’s <br />nervousness should not be held against him and that his personal connection to the <br />Housing Authority’s impact was meaningful. <br />Housing Authority Chair Jill Allen raised concerns about Barbee’s multiple commitments <br />but recognized her qualifications, while also noting the short-term nature of the <br />appointment until the May election. <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson stated that both candidates were passionate and qualified, <br />highlighting Barbee’s experience and attendance. <br /> Richard Klein commented that many members successfully serve on multiple boards. <br />Chair Wyman-Colombo observed that one candidate brought extensive experience and the <br />other a new perspective.
