<br />Select Board <br />March 9,2026 <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Laurent recommends that a contract for the project be awarded to Corolla Contracting Inc. <br />of Winthrop, MA in the amount of $648,000. Corolla is the lowest, qualified bidder for the <br />project. Corolla has extensive experience in all aspects of roofing work, including projects <br />completed for the Town of Mashpee. <br />Motion made by Selectman Richardson to award contract for MMHS Roof Restoration <br />Project to Corolla Contracting Inc. in the amount of $648,000. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Weeden. <br />Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes <br />Selectman Weeden-yes <br />Selectman Cotton-yes <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes <br />Selectman Richardson- yes <br /> Review of Recommendation for Annual Sticker and Bulky Waste Fees For Transfer <br />Station-Catherine Laurent, DPW Director <br />The Select Board reviewed the recommendation for annual sticker and bulky waste fees for <br />the transfer station, noting that pricing is evaluated each year to ensure revenues cover <br />operating costs. Based on current figures and the proposed FY27 budget, fee increases are <br />recommended due to declining sticker sales and rising expenses. <br />st <br />Catherine Laurent, DPW Director, recommended the 1 household sticker fee be increased <br />nd <br />to $280, the 2 household sticker fee be increased to $30, the recycling sticker fee be <br />increased to $50, and the single trip pass be increased to $25. It was also recommended <br />that the fee charged at the gate for mattresses/box springs be increased to $30. <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
