<br />Select Board <br />March 23, 2026 <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Motion made by Selectman Weeden to approve Quashnet Elementary School <br />Gymnasium as the Designated Alternate Polling Location for May 9,2026. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br />Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo-yes <br />Selectman Weeden-yes <br />Selectman Cotton-yes <br />Selectwoman Kelley-Wilson-yes <br />Selectman Richardson- yes <br />Town Planner Brian Tobin presented Article 30 regarding short-term rentals, outlining three <br />options for consideration; the Planning Board unanimously recommended Option 3, which <br />updates the code in response to litigation while essentially maintaining current practices. <br />Wyman-Colombo confirmed that Option 3 reflects existing practices in the bylaw, and <br />Tobin agreed. <br /> Tobin also reviewed Article 32, which proposes technical updates to nonconforming <br />buildings and uses to ensure compliance with state law; he noted the changes were vetted <br />by a working group and unanimously supported by the Planning Board and confirmed that <br />there are no substantive di?erences. <br />Motion made by Selectman Richardson to move into Executive Session. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br />Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
