Town of Mashpee <br /> ins, seta 16 Great Neck Road North. <br /> r� g Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> 2�� UY(3MUW t+A'S��'2 <br /> Minutes of Meeting of <br /> Design Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, April 7, 2026 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Design Review Committee Members Present: <br /> Jonathan Furbush, ZBA Member <br /> Karen Faulkner, Planning Board Member <br /> Carolyn Szarlan, Member at large <br /> Jonathan called the meeting to order at 8:30 am. <br /> NEW HEARINGS <br /> 8:30 am Project Address: 38 Bates Road <br /> Business name: The Spot (formerly Zoe's) <br /> Agent: Jeff Slick, Signarama <br /> Project: Remove existing "Zoe" sign, and replace it with "The Spot" sign, same <br /> location, both are above doors. <br /> Mr. Jeff Slick represented Steven Lewis, the Owner of the business. The new sign will be <br /> located above the entrance doorway that faces Rte. 151. The sign material is made of(ACM) <br /> aluminum composite material and is 3 mil. thick, and will be in the same area as the previous <br /> sign. The frontage of the building area is 555 sq. ft., measured (15 in height x 37 in length) <br /> and the sign is 19 sq. ft. is under 10% of wall area of the building facade. <br /> Mr. Furbush asked if there would be any additional lighting. Mr. Slick said; no. Mr. Furbush <br /> had no issues. <br /> Ms. Faulkner confirmed the square footage measurements were correct. She had no issues. <br /> Ms. Szarlan made a motion that the Committee approve the sign request as submitted for 38 <br /> Bates Road, "The Spot" (formerly Zoe's). Ms. Faulkner second. All were in favor and <br /> approved. <br />
