The service <br />guides the callers to the appropriate help or treatment, free of charge, no health insurance <br />needed and is completely confidential. Calls are received in real-time interpretation in over 200+ <br />languages. BHHL also offers a robust public facing directory of resources on its website. This is <br />a state funded initiative available to all residents in need of assistance. <br /> <br />Review of Status of Absentee Committee Member: <br />Gail reported that after repeated attempts to communicate with member Kasey Sherman, no <br />response has been received regarding her status. Mary Bradbury moved to accept the <br />resignation of Ms. Sherman, which was unanimously approved by the Committee. Gail will <br />inform the Select Board of the resignation and a search will begin for a new member. <br /> <br />Director’s Report: <br />Gail reported that applications will be available on May 1, 2026 for the 2026-27 round of Opioid <br />Abatement grants. The deadline for the applications is June 1, 2026. <br /> <br />She also reported that High Point will be opening a detox treatment facility in Hyannis this fall <br />and Gosnold Detox will be moving to Wareham. <br /> <br />
