Ms. Cullinan has been with Habitat for 13 years. <br /> Ms. Cullinan commented Habitat for Humanity International is celebrating 50 years this year. <br /> Their motto is everyone deserves an affordable home to call their own. This concept involves <br /> sweat equity, and neighbors helping neighbors, with the actual build. <br /> - Mashpee has 21 Habitat homes, with the two most recent being off Great Neck Road <br /> South. <br /> - There are 900 Habitat affiliates. <br /> - Habibat International works with 60 countries worldwide. <br /> - 1 in 3 people worldwide wake up without the security of a safe affordable home. <br /> - There are 16 affiliates in Mass. <br /> - Massachusetts has 8 ReStores, with 2 located on Cape Cod in Falmouth and Yarmouth. <br /> - 100% of profits go to the ReStore. They have 2 trucks that pick up on Cape donations. <br /> - Each homeowner needs 200 hours of sweat equity. <br /> The Cape Cod affiliate started in 1998. The future homeowner is not only helping to build their <br /> own homes, but their neighbors' homes as well. <br /> Right now, they are clearing land in Brewster and Falmouth, They have 2 in the works in <br /> Marstons Mills, 6 in Yarmouth, 7 in Orleans, and 14 in N.
