Proposed
vista pruning and building envelope for Lot 2 only. (Representative: Baxter Nye Engineering). 43-
3024
Conservation staff confirmed that this application involved a previously approved project currently under construction.
Staff explained that the matter related to a previously established building envelope, noting that past Commissions had
allowed applicants to establish building envelopes on vacant lots before a specific house design was proposed. Staff
explained that this process historically allowed a defined area to be cleared for future construction, with any eventual
dwelling required to remain within that approved envelope. Staff noted that this practice had created issues in prior cases.
MOTION: To approve the COC for 353 Simons Narrows Road.
Motion by: Richard Sahl Seconded by: Paul Colombo
Vote: Motion passed unanimously by roll call vote.
Steve Cook,Paul Colombo,Richard Sahl, Seana Pitt
--------------------------------------------------------------------
COC 353 Simons Narrows Road, John Cuming, Trustee, Simons Narrows, LLC.
