Town Manager Collins stated that the Board is authorized under MGL <br />c.90 §17C to approve a reduction in speed limit and noted that the request would lower the <br />posted speed from 30 mph to 25 mph. <br /> A representative of the Santuit Pond Estates Trustees explained that the subdivision <br />includes approximately 157 homes on interconnected roads, with limited posted signage <br />and ongoing concerns about speeding by residents and visitors. She requested additional <br />signage throughout the neighborhood to improve awareness and safety. <br />Town Manager Collins stated that a reduction to 25 mph is reasonable and indicated that <br />the DPW would assist with updated signage. <br />Motion made by Selectman Richardson to approve the speed limit reduction from 30 <br />mph to 25 mph with additional signage. <br />Motion seconded by Selectwoman Wyman-Colombo. <br />Vote: 5-0 Unanimous <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Selectman Cotton-yes <br />13 <br /> <br /> <br />
