FINCOM-Regular Session May 14,2026 Stephen Kelley introduced himself as the newest member of the Finance Committee. Stephen spent most of his career working in ﬁnancial services in New York. Now retired and living full-time in Mashpee, he expressed a desire to give back to the community. COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE Communication from Select Board Liaison, if any N/A Communication from School Committee Liaison, if any N/A OLD BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS Complete with Jamie Schuh Committee members thanked Jamie for her years of service and leadership as Chair, noting her contributions to both the Town and the Finance Committee. Jamie expressed her appreciation for the Committee and shared that she had enjoyed her four years of service. She noted that the experience had provided a valuable opportunity to become more involved in Town government. Members commented on Jamie's respectful approach, willingness to share her opinions, and candid contributions during discussions. They also thanked her for stepping into a leadership role when needed and recognized the thoughtful questions and insights she consistently brought to the Committee. Town Manager updates -N/A Review of Town Meeting and Finance Committee Report The Committee reviewed the Town Meeting and Finance Committee Report. Members noted that there was an error in the Blue Book referencing Appendices B and C in the Free Cash table, although those appendices were not included. The Committee agreed that the graphics and overall presentation of the report were well received, particularly the pie charts. Members discussed the challenges of preparing two sets of materials this year and noted that this should not be necessary next year. The Committee observed that both override questions passed.
