Vice Chair, Sharon Sangeleer, Board Members Jonathan D. <br /> Furbush, William A. Blaisdell, Scott Goldstein, and Associate Members, Charles <br /> Reidy, Michael Morizio and Robert Caggiano were present. Also present was <br /> Building Commissioner, David Morris. <br /> Vice Chair, Ms. Sangeleer opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that <br /> the hearings were being televised live on Mashpee TV and will take comments <br /> after each hearing. This meeting is also a hybrid meeting, and the Zoom address <br /> is indicated on the Agenda. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> Approval of Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Meeting Minutes <br /> Mr. Reidy made a motion to approve the meeting minutes dated June 10, 2026. <br /> Mr. Blaisdell second. All were in favor. <br /> CONTINUED HEARINGS <br /> 9 Santuit Lane: Owner, 9 Santuit Lane, LLC requests a Modification to an <br /> existing Special Permit (SP-2025-01) to allow for construction of a covered deck <br /> on the northly side of the house, and to enlarge a partially covered deck in the <br /> rear of the property located in an R-5 Zoning District, Map 30, Parcel 15, <br /> Mashpee, MA. (Continued from May 13, 2026, hearings). <br /> Attorney Brian Wall represented the owner of the property located at 9 Santuit <br /> Lane. Also present was Mr. Michael Borselli, Engineer located in Falmouth. The <br /> Board granted a Special Permit for this property in May 2025 for a raze and <br /> replace of the existing dwelling. The applicant purchased the property back in <br /> December 2025. The current dwelling was constructed in 1933 and is situated <br /> very close to Santuit Pond and serviced by a cesspool and is unhabitable. The <br /> Building Commissioner considered the dwelling to be unsafe and would prefer <br /> the house be torn down. In October of 2024, the prior owner filed a notice of <br /> intent with the Conservation Commission, and the proposed project is to <br /> demolish the existing house and build a new house. The project was presented <br /> to the Commission and subsequently to the Board of Appeals. <br /> i <br />
