He instructed members to be at <br /> Veterans Park from 12:OOPM-4:OOPM on June 14t", Sunday afternoon. <br /> Richard Donovan left a stack of flyers for Committee members to take and distribute. He also <br /> left a few poster size copies. <br /> Mr. Kupferman continued that there will be food tables with samplings of international flavors <br /> and he will need help monitoring and maintaining upkeep of those tables. There is a great <br /> lineup of musical guests. The Town Manger is unable to attend. Rachael Devaney was invited <br /> to speak and accepted. She is an award-winning reporter for the Cape Cod Times. He sent out <br /> a press release detailing the event. They were also able to stay on budget! <br /> Mr. Kupferman reached out to the Select Board Chair to present the proclamation. Due to their <br /> reorganizing of duties, he is unsure who his request went to. He will follow up with both <br /> Michaela Wyman-Colombo and John Cotton. <br /> Ms. Johnson-Graham commented a Tribal member will be donating quahog chowder. Fun <br /> Clowns will also have two face painters coming. Lastly, she asked about a Tribal member <br /> selling jewelry. Due to it being a non-profit event, it was answered no. <br /> Chair Stevenson shed some light on the food confusion. Family Table Collaborative, the <br /> original spearhead of the food, let her know a couple days ago that they cannot help. They <br /> wanted to be able to sell baked goods, which was an arguable point to them. That is how we <br /> ended up with this potluck idea. <br /> She continued on about her Greek and Jewish friends who will be providing traditional family <br /> recipes. Donators have reached out saying they will provide hummus, Brazilian cheese <br /> biscuits, and scones. Sherry Pocknett, a famous Tribal chef and winner of the James Beard <br /> award, cannot help this year but she is adding it to her calendar for next year. <br /> 2 <br />
