r <br /> MINUTES OF THEMEETING <br /> OF THE 14ASUPEE ROUSING AUTHORITY <br /> BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> urge 81 1995 <br /> The meeting of the Hashpee Housing Authority Board of <br /> Commissioners was called tq order at 7 :04 p.m. and a quorum <br /> delcared with the following Membors present; Stu Peoples, <br /> Antoinette Brooks and Karep Rudd. ,Also in attendance were <br /> real <br /> dents/members of neye Village Tenants Association; <br /> and, Carolyn Reed, H ecutive Director* <br /> motion was made by Me. Rudd and seconded by Mrs. Brooks to <br /> accept the minutes of the neeting held on May 11, 1995 . The <br /> ►otic carried. <br /> RH SUR R*$ REPORT: <br /> Ms. Reed reported the following balances as of this date: <br /> 667."l--. $3,328.33 in checking and $17 ,442 .39 in Money <br /> Market; MRV -��- $9,034 .90; apo Section -� 7 . <br /> ,05.2the <br /> balance in the Section 8 account represents a transfer of <br /> $12,000.00 frog► the Money Market. This transfer was done to <br /> cover the June It payment landlydsn the Section <br /> Program* There was some concern that there was not enough <br /> money in the Section 8 account to cover the landlord <br /> payments, Ms. Reed spo)ce to the fee acountant who research <br /> the situation and advised that the Section 8 account was low <br /> due to issuing Autho it i s not forwarding payments as <br /> previously reqgisitionedo once the requisitions are up to <br /> date, the ,000-00 viill be Iran s f Bred back into the Money <br /> market account. <br /> Subsequent to review and questions on accounts payable— <br /> specifically question posed with regard to the fee <br /> i accountant bill—what ppriod did the amount represent, a <br /> notion was made by Mrs. Brooks and seconded by Ms. Rudd to <br /> approve bills presented for payment. The motion carried. <br /> EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'$ REPORT: <br /> Ms. Reed advised that the Mashpee Housing Authority i <br /> currently involved with the audit of the MVP Program* This <br /> audit is being oondncted state-wide in an effort to justify <br /> n increase i the MRV a mini tra i e fee. In addition, a <br /> limited audit will begin Qp June 19, 1995. This is in <br /> response to our request for a "transitional audit" based <br /> change in E. xecutive Director" s at the Iashpee Housing <br /> Authority$ <br /> The tenant rent roll, usually prepared by the Dennis Housing <br /> Authority will now be the responsibility of the Mashpe <br /> Housing Authority. This task was previously contracted out <br /> to Dennis. <br />
