In April, with the excess rainfall, the levels rose to 56.3 and 56.0 ft. above sea
level with 17 and 16 inches of water flowing over the boards. With concern about the high water level
Barbara emailed the graph e have maintained Since 2004 of the pond heights t Drew 1e ianu in
Conservation. She requested that DPW remove sand again and questioned whether a board could be
removed. Drew returned 2 emails which were read. Drew mentioned that he met with Marine Fisheries
Y
and removed a board f o the Mill Pond outlet. He also mentioned that he did not have a key to remove
the lock from the cage around the darn area so he could not get in to remove debris caught in the wire of
the cage Ynathe, dam area.'B arbara noted that-DPW had removed sand before April I t, and the debris was
gone on April 15''. The 1 la hpee Enterprise noted that the Wampanoags and Selectman Michael
Richardson had walked the Mshpee River and removed debris the last week of March. The committee is
interested to hear from Mr. Richardson about the river condition. Mr. Marsters noted that the high bank on
the Holly reservation had fallen down more. Mr. Baker suggested getting a picture for the Enterprise.
Mr. Mar tens suggested inviting Mr. McManus of Conservation to our meeting to share his plan for
regulating the water level of the lake.
Conclusions: The pond level has been consistent) 'above 5 5. ft. DPW removed sand from thespillway.
y
