<br />					the  si-te� - for  the  neer   as' h  ee  library.  Chats.rman- of  the
<br />       				Library  Buil'ding .   ommittee,  Nor.  -Richard  Shaughnessy  started
<br />       				by  saying  that  the  .purpose. of  the  meeting  with  the  Rel    t len
<br />       				was  the  site - selection..    He  stated  that  theo='ittee  'under-
<br />					stood .

<br />					to  send  the  grant-  application  in' ,' however  they  feel  'that+
<br />					that  particular  site .should  nit  be. used'' for  many  reasons

<br />					that 'civil  buildings  should  not  be  hidden 'on  side  roads  and
<br />					that  the  town  shouldriot  leave  the' .traveled  roads  for  hon' kY

<br />					requests  the'  S'  lectmen  negotiate  with  Fields  Point  for  Prompt
<br />					action  on  the  I+ all  site.
<br />						Petty.,  Chairperson  for  the  School  Committee  discussed  the
<br />					problems  that  might  arise  if.  the= .Selectmen  stared  with  the
<br />					school  site. '   She  stated  that  it  is  not  ac visatble  at  this
<br />					tiMO.
<br />       				Chm.  Garland, stated  that. he -had -ta1  ed  to  Dr.     ich  l  on'  and
<br />       				that  there  is  no  intent  of  expanding  the  school  -and  if  there
<br />       				was  it  would  go  to  the  East  and  not  the  testi    He  also  stated
<br />       				that- he  feels  the  real  reason  the. Library    orr nittee  Wants
<br />       				to  have  the  site  around  the  area  of the  rotary- is  because  of
<br />					the  survey  that  was  made  by  the  Library,  Trustees, a  few  years
<br />					ago.
<br />       				Mr.--  Shaughnessy  concurred  because  the  surveys  'dial  show  that
