V ' own, <br /> barn of S4I aMj P r e <br /> a w nth <br /> 02649 <br />�YANCE COMMITTEE <br /> FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES <br /> Town Hall <br /> March 24, 1987 <br /> Present: Finance Committee members, Frederic Blythe, Edward Dolan, Carol <br /> Dunivan, Carl Heller, Joyce Howell, and William Towner. <br /> Town Accountant, Vern Polka <br /> The meeting commenced at 6 p.m. Finance Committee members reviewed <br /> the FY88 Budgets and approved the budgets as per the attached budget sheets. <br /> The Finance Committee also reviewed the Request for Transfer for $25,000 <br /> for Legal & Engineering Costs from the Selectmen. This Request had been brought <br /> before the Committee on March 18th and Finance Committee decided to put the <br /> request on hold till such time as a written memo was received,' from the <br /> Executive Secretary to the Department Heads, requesting the limitation of <br /> the use of the legal services. Members reviewed tLe memo restricting the <br /> use of: legal services, and discussed the need for $25,000. The Finance <br /> Committee voted and approved the Request for Transfer from the Reserve Fund <br /> for $25,000 for Legal & Engineering. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m. <br /> The next scheduled meeting is April 1, Wednesday, at 6 p.m. <br /> A"� <br /> Gail McNabb <br /> Board Secretary <br />
