MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> APRIL 28, 1994 <br /> MEETING COMMENCED AT 7:OOPM <br /> Members present: Dan Goggin, Chairman; Deirdre Greelish, Vice <br /> Chairman; Denise Sullivan; Tony Gallo and Marcia King. John <br /> Ferriday and Roger Dunivan were unable to attend. <br /> Please note for the record that the taping of this meeting was for <br /> the transcription of the Minutes only. Once the Minutes are <br /> approved, the tapes will be reused. <br /> Al Polsi, Taxpayers' Association, was also at the meeting to <br /> discuss the upcoming Town Meeting. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Deirdre Greelish MOTIONED to accept the Minutes of April 13, 1994. <br /> Denise Sullivan seconded the Motion and members voted in approval <br /> of the Minutes as written 4-0. <br /> Denise Sullivan MOTIONED to accept the Minutes of April 20, 1994. <br /> Marcia King seconded the Motion and members approved the Minutes <br /> 4-0 as written. <br /> The Minutes of April 5, 1994 need to be voted on 'again. Finance <br /> Committee members voted if favor of accepting the Minutes as <br /> written, but there were not enough members which had attended that <br /> particular meeting to make a quorum. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Mr. Goggin mentioned to the Committee that they had received from <br /> Dr. DeMoura, a listing of Unit A Step Increase amounts. <br /> Also noted was a memo to the Finance Committee from the Executive <br /> Secretary regarding the Town Hall expense and study. <br /> Also noted was a memo to the Board of Selectmen and Executive <br /> Secretary, with a copy to the Finance Committee, from the Personnel <br /> Board in regard to a request for proposal for job classification <br /> and pay' scale study; review and composition of various Personnel <br /> By-Law changes. <br /> Mr. Goggin asked Ms. Greelish if the Finance Committee was in <br /> balance with revenues? Ms. Greelish answered that yes, the Finance <br /> Committee's figure was in agreement with the Executive Secretary's. <br /> Ms. Greelish mentioned, that as of this meeting, the Finance <br /> Committee is approximately $60,000 in the hole and they should look <br /> at .possibly not buyingr- the front -end loader. this year-.-, ,- <br /> . <br />
