Town of Mashpee
C:I' ti`'Sry
f 16 Great JI(eck Xoad North
Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649
July 24, 1996
DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES - Attendees - Tony
Ferragamo, Ed Gavoni, minutes by W. Hauck
Plymouth Savings Bank - Submitted colors for the building- Manchester tan by Benjamin
Moore for the siding and beige for the trim. Landscaping -The dogwoods at the side
parking are to be 2 1/2 caliper, the junipers are to be a 5 gallon size, Plants of a sufficient
size are to added to rear of the building to break the building line and additional planting
is to added to the side of the building to enhance the holly now in place. two copies of the
revised landscape plan is to be given to Appeals and one copy to design review.
Industrial Drive Map 881parcel 34 - preliminary discussion on a 9,993 square foot
building with potentially 5 rental units. Building plans were presented by Cape and Island
Steel, the building had the approval of the committee, It was recommended the signage be
submitted for review, a landscape plan is required which shows lighting, dumpster
location with screening, specified plantings etc. it was requested to pull the parking off the
loading dock side of the property to allow for screening and a buffer, the understanding is
that there is to be no outside storage or overnight parking which would require a different
review, have DPW director Greg Taylor review the drainage and also the Board of Health
which would require MDC basins in place of the trap rock apron.
New Seabury - a review of a temporary sign under 6 square feet on weekends for their
concerts which is to be placed over the existing Route 28 rotary sign. Favorable
