Minutes of Combined Meeting of Mashpec Design Review Committee and Mashpee Plan Review Committee Held Thursday,October 23,2008 Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 Design Review Members Present: Robert Nelson,Tom O'Hara,and Richard Stevens. Plan Review Members Present: Richard Stevens,Building Inspector Tom.Fudala,Town Planner Charlie Maintanis, Local Inspector Paul Bryant,Police Department Sheldon Hamblin, Deputy Fire Chief Glen Harrington,Health Agent Drew McManus, Conservation Agent Richard Stevens called the meeting to order at 9 a.m. 35G South Street Wicked Restaurant Representative—James Piquette James Piquette, Steve Bavin, and Melinda Gallant appeared. James Piquette addressed the Committee stating that they are doing the interior of Wicked Restaurant. He said the restaurant is going to be a pizza/sandwich restaurant and they will have a bar. He showed a floor plan and the following points were discussed: • 125 Seats in the restaurant/bar area. • At side of building there is no access to the restaurant...just a delivery door. • Metal stud walls. • There will be a glass wall which would give an open view of the kitchen. • Full sprinkled building. • Dumpster area. The dumpster area by Wicked will be solely for Wicked. Conclusions • Although parking has already been approved,the Committee pointed out that they wanted everyone to be aware that it is a long way from parking area near,dumpster to access the restaurant. • Charlie Maintanis stated he had issues with handicap access. • Sheldon Hamblin asked whether or not an ambulance could get through. The response was that at this time they can fit. Sheldon said that when they build other buildings across from Joy Street they will have to address that issue.
