TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> Minutes of Meeting, October 27, 1975, 7:30 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: R.A. Graham, W.S. Clend-enin,'C. Brown <br /> A letter was dictated to be sent to Dr. Carl V. Granger, <br /> New England Medical Center, who recently examined George r <br /> Costa, Patrolman, requestin9'a copy of his report and'opinions <br /> as to Patrolman Costa's physical limitations. <br /> A <br /> There was a discussion of the recent Fire Contract nego- <br /> tiations and changes which have been made in the contract. <br /> Chairman Graham will talk to Chief Bingham and get back <br /> to Mashpee Policemen's Association on various points. h?, <br /> There was discussion of a letter being sent to Selectmen <br /> regarding Town Counsel Staff's memorandum concerning the <br /> Personnel Board's duties. Attorney Staff will receive a copy <br /> of this letter. <br /> We have received approximately 40 applications for the <br /> position of Executive Secretary and will be interviewing <br /> shortly. The Selectmen will be notified of this. <br /> A letter will be sent to Mr, John Ferguson, Building <br /> Needs Committee Chairman, stating that the maximum starting <br /> salary for secretaries is $2.90 and noting several recent <br /> applicants who have indicated they would be interested in <br /> part-time work. <br /> A letter will be sent to John Malone asking him his in- <br /> tentions regarding his seat on the Personnel Board, in light <br /> of the fact that he is unable to attend meetings on a regular <br /> basis at this time. <br /> Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> jsa <br /> , <br />
