' TOWN OF MASHPEE ._ <br /> • PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> Minutes of Meeting, March 15, .1976, 6:30 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: W.S. Clendenin, R.A. Graham, R.A. Maxim, K. Parolski <br /> The Board met with Selectmen O'Connell and Benway, and Executive <br /> Secretary Hieksto discuss the police contract and various articles <br /> being submitted for Annual Town Meeting Warrant. It was agreed that <br /> Selectmen and Personnel Board will confer before making final <br /> recommendations on these articles. (See attached list). <br /> Chief Mills will be asked to attend the Personnel Board meeting <br /> March 2?, 1976 to discuss his salary for' 1976/77 and articles he is <br /> submitting for Annual Town Meeting. <br /> A letter will be written to B. Jean Thomas as representative for <br /> Mashpee Employees' Association suggesting that their requested meeting <br /> be on April 5, 1976, after the Board has received information being <br /> compiled by Town of Sandwich. <br /> In answer to a letter from Deirdre Greelish as Secretary to the <br /> School Building Committee, the Board will inform her that it will accept <br /> any minimam amount of salary she feels is appropriate, but the policy of . <br /> -the board to pay a four hour minimum for night meetings still stands. <br /> The Board will meet on Tuesday, March 16, 1976 with the Mashpee <br /> Police Association to discuss the proposed contract. Attorney Kowal <br /> has been sent a'co-py of this contract and has indicated that he will <br /> give the Board his recommendations within a week. <br /> A letter will be sent to William DiBerto, Cape Cod Planning and <br /> Economic Development Commission, asking him to furnish the Board with <br /> any information they have in relation-to the cost of living index for <br /> the period 1975/76 and/or any projections they may have for 1976/77. <br /> This information will be used in relation to establishing the need <br /> for a cost of .living raise for Mashpee employees. <br /> The Board will meet with Bob Courtemanche, Shellfish Constable, <br /> and Jerry DePalma, Park & Recreation Director at its next meeting, March <br /> 22, 1976. <br /> A letter will be sent to Chief Bingham stating that the appropriation <br /> for Curtis Frye's 1975/76 salary should have been $13,263.35; therefore, <br /> $79.84 should be appropriated to balance this' account.'
