McCormack, Jr. <br /> Attorney General <br /> State House, Boston, Mass. <br /> Dear Mr. McCormack: <br /> The following general by-laws were voted unanimously at the <br /> annual Town Meeting held on March 5 and March 6 1962 with a quorum <br /> present at the meeting. <br /> Article 38. To see if the Town will vote to amend Article <br /> ten (10) Section 1, of the Mashpee By-laws to read as follows: 1tNo <br /> elected officer of the Town of Mashpee, except a member of the Board <br /> of Assessors and a member of the Board of Health shall receive any <br /> compensation for transportation within the limits of the Town" , or <br /> take any other action thereon. <br /> ACTION: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as amended as follows: <br /> To see if the Town will tote to amend Chapter I. Article X, Section 1, <br /> of the Mashpee By-Lags to read as follows: No elected officer of the <br /> Town of Mashpee, except a member of the Board of Assessors and agents <br /> of Boards and inspectors, shall receive any compensation for trans- <br /> portation within the limits of the Town. <br /> Article 50. To see if the Town will vote on Chapter 1, Town <br /> Meetings and Election of Officers, to recind Section 2 of Article 1, <br /> of the Town By-Laws and substitute the following: "The Selectmen shall <br /> cause to be delivered to all registered voters at least seven (7) days <br /> before any annual or special Town meeting the recommendations and <br /> estimates of all committees (except the Finance Committee) relating <br /> to the expenditures of money upon which action is to be taken, in <br /> addition to the article included in the wgrrant" , or take any other <br /> atrtion thereon. <br /> ACTION: Artiile voted unanimously to be accepted as read. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Carol A.
