Dear Mr. McCormack: The following general by-laws were voted unanimously at the annual Town Meeting held on March 5 and March 6 1962 with a quorum present at the meeting. Article 38. To see if the Town will vote to amend Article ten (10) Section 1, of the Mashpee By-laws to read as follows: 1tNo elected officer of the Town of Mashpee, except a member of the Board of Assessors and a member of the Board of Health shall receive any compensation for transportation within the limits of the Town" , or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Article voted unanimously to be accepted as amended as follows: To see if the Town will tote to amend Chapter I. Article X, Section 1, of the Mashpee By-Lags to read as follows: No elected officer of the Town of Mashpee, except a member of the Board of Assessors and agents of Boards and inspectors, shall receive any compensation for trans- portation within the limits of the Town. Article 50. To see if the Town will vote on Chapter 1, Town Meetings and Election of Officers, to recind Section 2 of Article 1, of the Town By-Laws and substitute the following: "The Selectmen shall cause to be delivered to all registered voters at least seven (7) days before any annual or special Town meeting the recommendations and estimates of all committees (except the Finance Committee) relating to the expenditures of money upon which action is to be taken, in addition to the article included in the wgrrant" , or take any other atrtion thereon.
