Issue Boat Excise Bills <br /> ' As of the time of our audit fieldwork in September, 1999, the Town did not yet <br /> issue any fiscal year 1999 boat excise bills. Apparently, this occurred because <br /> ' bills were not committed to the Collector by the Assessors. <br /> We recommend the Town take steps to assure these bills are prepared and <br /> mailed as soon as possible. This will minimize the risk of incurring uncollectible <br /> ' excise bills. <br /> 4 <br />
