MINUTES January 19, 1995 5 BOARD OF HEALTH
Mr. DiMaggio stated, "You said that after the fact, that was the problem." "If you
had said that 12 in the beginning there wouldn't have been a problem, but you said 10."
Mr. Gangemi stated, "Irving agreed with me at the time."
Mr. DiMaggio stated, "Irving is only an employee, you know what I'm saying."
"You know Irving doesn't know anything."
Mr. Gangemi stated, "Well he's the one who is looking at it with me." "If he said
10 then I'm not going to say Irving it's 12."
Mr. Ball stated, "Did you agree - originally it was 8 loads for 10 yards, then you
saw Joe and then you went up to 12 yards." "Did you go to 12 yards."
Mr. Gangemi responded, "If Joe's going to say 14 and he's really hot and he thinks
I really have 14 on three, which I know I didn't, I would meet him halfway."
Mr. Ball questioned, "Would you both agree to 12."
Mr. DiMaggio stated, "Yes, however I want every load stopped and signed by the
driver."
Mr. Gagemi stated, "I don't mind doing that but that is what Irving's job is and I
can't do his job."
Mr. DiMaggio stated, "His job is to stop you just like they stop you at the gate."
Mr. Ball reiterated his earlier question, "Do you guys agree with the 12."
Mr. DiMaggio commented, "You should measure your truck Ron."
Mr. Gangemi responded, "I measured it four times today." "It's 13' long, 8' wide
and 3' deep, it comes to 11.5 and without a tailgate you don't fit......"
Mr. DiMaggio stated, "It is not 10 yards, right?"
Mr. Gagemi responded, "Without a tailgate you get about 10 yards in there."
Mr. DiMaggio stated, "Yeah, but with a tailgate on it, your packing it and
mounding it." "I agree if you kept it below the boards which it wasn't."
